NCI Students Union

My name is Dean Murphy and i’m in 3rd year here in NCI! As Ents Officer for the year, I plan on organising the best events to cater to all students here in college, and to make the year 17/18 the best year ever! Lovely cans.

Smart, funny, handsome.. and humble. But you can call me Aidan.

I’m the person behind all the social media accounts for NCISU aswell as the Webmaster for NCISU.ie I create and manage the marketing of our events and the take care of tech problems down in the SU.

But I’m much more than that, as an SU Officer just as any other Officer I am responsible for each and every student having an incredible college year both in an academic sense but also in any other way that may be needed.

My name is Josh Kennedy and I’m going into 4th year in NCI. I have graduated from the Higher Certificate and now heading into my final year as a marketing student. This is also my second year as the NCISU Clubs and Socs Officer. I have introduced Paddy the Panther as the college mascot and this year, I intend to introduce a bigger variety of societies and also more clubs on a competitive level. My biggest ambition for this year is for more students to get involved in clubs and societies on a larger scale than ever before.

My name is Seán McMahon and this year I will be your Student Unions Vice President. I have studied in NCI for 3 years. Through being part of clubs within the college and taking part in events I have loved every moment of my time here. I plan on helping every student finish this coming year with that same feeling. As Vice President it is my role to be your welfare, equality and part time officer. Throughout the year I will be running campaign weeks and I hope to see you all get involved. I hope you all have a great year in NCI, and know that the Student Union officers are always there to help!

My name is Stephen and this will be my second year as your Student Union. As president it’s my job to represent you on all issues both within college and national issues such as student loans and fighting for free education for students. I was a student here myself and know how daunting starting college can be but trust me (a veteran at this stage!) that college can be the best 3 to 4 years of your life. Just put yourself out there and embrace the short time you have here. College is the time of your life to make memories, have laughs, go to festivals, travel, see the world and more so make sure to make the most of it!
